  • Key project responsibilities include overseeing a VMware to VCF upgrade and managing migrations to Azure Cloud, with a focus on high-quality stakeholder management.
  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and will be compensated with a salary of £500-£600 per day, inside IR35.
  • The position is primarily remote, with an expectation of 1-3 days on-site per month, and candidates must undergo a BPSS check prior to starting.

Infrastructure Project Manager – Glasgow – Remote – 6 months contract

A leading organisation based in Glasgow requires a Lead Project Manager to deliver several key Infrastructure projects to help them deliver the Digital Transformation programme of work which is running over the next three years.

The key project is a VMware to VCF upgrade, and it is key this is delivered by April 2025.

Infrastructure Project Manager requirements:

  • Inside IR35
  • Infrastructure Project Management experience withing an Enterprise Estate
  • Experience in full end to end project Delivery
  • Previous experiencing in delivering Infrastructure projects covering the following areas:
    • VMWare to VCF – VMware Cloud Foundation
    • Physical Server to Azure Cloud migrations
    • Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience
    • Moving applications to Azure Cloud
    • Windows 11 deployment projects
    • Security / Network project delivery
  • Experience of Full Project Management Lifecycle.
  • Creation of project plans essential.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements for Project plans and delivery.
  • Must have experience in managing internal and external technical teams.
  • Documentation and translate of technical requirements into the live environment.
  • High Quality level stakeholder management is essential.
  • Previous experience managing resource requirements.
  • Experience working in a highly regulatory environment – Banking, Finance, Legal, Insurance is preferred

This Infrastructure Project Manager will be mainly remote, with on-site commitments when the project dictates – expectations are approx. 1-3 days per month

This Infrastructure Project Manager role is an immediate requirement, with interview slots available W/C 25th November.

Please note the Project Manager will need to go through BPSS check – DBS, Referencing, Right to Work, Proof of qualifications – prior to starting.
