Paint SprayerLocation: GlasgowSalary: Up to £50,000 OTE (including site bonus), depending on experience and qualificationsShift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)OverviewThe Paint Sprayer is responsible for preparing, spraying, and efficiently finishing vehicles to ensure an excellent colour match and final finish that meets company and customer standards. Qualified staff will work independently, while non-qualified staff will work under supervision.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand spray-painting principles, including paint composition, mixing, and various spraying methods.
  • Regularly update knowledge of product developments and improvements by attending training courses.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and other necessary prep work.
  • Spray paint vehicles to the required standard, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Always use prescribed safety equipment and follow medical guidance, attending company-arranged medicals as required.
  • Maintain and keep tools and equipment in safe, clean, and workable condition, particularly reducing fire hazards.
  • Follow Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations, adhering to company policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and team leaders to achieve team objectives and targets.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by a senior manager.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Paint Sprayer (essential).
  • ATA accreditation is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of spray-painting technology, including the use of various paint-spraying methods.
  • Ability to prepare vehicles thoroughly for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in achieving the correct colour match and finish.
  • Familiarity with safety equipment and a commitment to using it properly.
  • Good teamwork skills to collaborate with others and meet team goals.
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
