Vehicle Prepper/Polisher
Location: Glasgow
Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:00 + 1 Saturday in 4
Pay Rate: 16 p/h PAYE
Contract: Long-term, Ongoing work
Are you a skilled Vehicle Prepper/Polisher with experience in an automotive bodyshop setting? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Working on the behalf of one of the leading automotive companies in the UK, successful candidates will be painting a range of vehicles in a busy and fast paced bodyshop.
The Role:
Within this role you will be responsible for the below tasks:
- Preparation of vehicles prior to painting
- Filling
- Masking
- Sanding when needed
- Fresh paint polishing
- Polishing out any defects in the paint
- Vehicles can range from small family cars through to light commercial vehicles
- Working in a fast paced, well equipped Bodyshop
What kind of person we are looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to work under own initiative as well as being a team player.
- Happy working in a fast paced, busy workshop.
- Hold a full, category B driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences
