The Company

My client, a dynamic Transport and Engineering consultancy, is looking for a Transport Planner to join the team! They work on a variety from small access assessments to large-scale strategic development sides across transport infrastructure design, traffic engineering, development planning, and sustainable transport solutions.

The position as a Transport Planner

You will play a key role in developing transport infrastructure and supporting road network analysis.

  • Developing transport infrastructure designs in accordance with industry standards.
  • Undertaking and overseeing road network analysis using tools such as Junctions 9, LINSIG, and TRANSYT.
  • Preparing technical reports, including Transportation Assessments, Access Appraisals, and Travel Plans.
  • Supporting sustainable and active transport planning initiatives.
  • Contributing to feasibility studies and development planning projects.

Essential Requirements for a Transport Planner

  • A degree in either Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Town Planning, Geography, or maths.
  • Previous relevant consultancy experience.
