Travel Consultant required for this independent travel company specialising in booking travel for  the entertainment industry including music tours, promotors, record labels and tv and film producers. You will be based in their office in Glasgow Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm. Salary will be based on experience.Travel Consultant duties:

  • Booking all aspects of business travel including flights, accommodation etc in a fast-paced environment 
  • Working with high profile clients and providing excellent customer service
  • Dealing with both individual and group bookings using the GDS
  • Provide a dedicated service and build relationships with your clients
  • Advise on best fares and be proficient in ticketing, reissues, refunds etc…

Travel Consultant experience/skills: 

  • Solid business travel or entertainment travel experience (experience in touring, TV, media or group travel would be an advantage but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
  • Strong Galileo knowledge
  • Ability to work under own initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Ticketing, reissues, refunds
