HGV Technician
Salary: £44,336 - £46,559
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: 2 week earlies / 1 week lates
6am-3.30pm / 1pm-10.30pm (7pm finish on a fri)
We are currently seeking a dedicated HGV Technician / Mechanic to perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles. This HGV Technician role is vital for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- As an HGV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards on trucks, trailers and vans
- The HGV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the HGV Technician.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the HGV Technician.
- Will involve working on double decks therefore knowledge of double/moving decks will be required
- Vehicle inspections
- Vehicle diagnostics and mot preparation

Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in the HGV Technician field, with comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- A strong commitment to health and safety standards, essential for an HGV Technician.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferable for an HGV Technician.
