Welder / Fabricator - About the role:

We are now looking to recruit skilled welder / fabricators to join our team.

The role involves welding and fabricating structural and architectural steel. We're seeking skilled welders with experience in producing high-quality work where attention to detail and a cosmetic finish are essential.

What we need from you:

Successful candidates must be able to interpret fabrication drawings and have a solid understanding of MIG welding. Experience with workshop hand tools, grinders, and bandsaws is also required.

Fork lift truck driving, experience preferred
Work on own initiative and from supplied drawings
Internal material movement using an overhead crane
Some painting of steelwork
Loading and unloading of materials on/off vehicles
General housekeeping and upkeep of welding plant machinery and working areas

Individuals must have a flexible approach to working hours and be willing and able to work overtime as and when required. Attitude to work is as important as experience.

References, as well as details of previous work may be required.
