Our client, a leading provider in the marine manufacturing sector, is nearing completion on a project which now requires additional labour.

The contract will run for approx. 4 weeks



Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings specific to marine applications
  • Ensuring all welds meet industry standards and project specifications
  • Conducting inspections and tests to maintain high quality of work
  • Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on schedule
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and marine regulations


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in welding, specifically using FCAW techniques
  • Strong understanding of marine welding standards and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Relevant certification in welding or equivalent qualification


Benefits:

  • 23/h Umb co Weekday hours, 34.50/h Weekend hours
  • 7 days, avaialble up to 12 hour days
