Timber Mill Supervisor

A1 Jobs require a Timber Mill Supervisor with wood machinist experience for our client based in Glasgow, G51.

The permanent role will pay up to £35000 based on experience.

Further job details:

- Stable, permanent employment in a Monday – Friday schedule

- 40 hours per week, no evenings or weekends

You will assist the Mill Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the shop floor including:-

- Monitor employee performance

- Provide support and guidance

- Provide training on machinery and moulders

- Quality control

- Report machinery issues to Management

- Follow Health & Safety and other procedures

- Occasional hands-on duties; assisting machine operators

What do you need to succeed?

- Supervisory experience in the timber industry

 -Working knowledge of various wood machinery

- Experience producing quality hardwood / softwood mouldings

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Ability to problem solve, make decisions and have an adaptable approach

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
