NET Recruit are partnering with a growing accountancy and financial services business, to support their search for a Qualified Accountant to join their rural team in the Mendips area.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Taking responsibility for preparing and reviewing both accounts and tax returns
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with regulations
  • Providing valuable advice and insights for clients regarding their finances and accounts
  • Supporting liaisons with HMRC when required
  • Ensuring that client information is kept up-to-date and accurate
You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Possess at least AAT Level 4 or a higher qualification
  • Have experience gained from within an accountancy practice environment 
  • Knowledge or exposure to rural/agricultural accounting would be beneficial
  • Good exposure to preparing accounts and tax returns for clients such as sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Sound knowledge of any relevant tax regulations
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
