THE COMPANY:

My client are a diverse, award winning privately owned house builder who produce high end, bespoke developments of up to 50units. They take huge pride in delivering beautiful traditionally designed homes in the most sustainable way possible. The team, although small, are very friendly and professional and offer a wealth of experience.

With land purchased and new developments starting early 2023, they are now looking for a Technical Manager to join the team.

THE ROLE: Technical Manager

DUTIES:

Supervise the production and presentation of project drawings

Produce accurate and concise pre planning information with orderly completion

Apply practicality and economical consciousness to the build agenda

Co-ordinate the interest of key stakeholders with the company ethos and project proposal

Identify, discuss and resolve concerns or potential issues with the project management team

Awareness and implementation of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations

Continual analytical review of program, budget and development

Liaise with the commercial department to manage and control project expenditure forecast in line with the program

Attend regular project meetings

Provide support and drive through the planning process through to completion

Skills and experience as Technical Manager

Well established experience as a technical manager with a house builder or working as a Architectural Technician

Experience within design and planning process of residential developments

Excellent communication, motivation and attention to detail

IT competency

Relevant building related certificates of higher education
