Role Overview

They are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join there dynamic team. As a Professional Driver you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to designated locations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for reliable service and high standards.

What is on offer

£32,000 - £34,000 p/a (dependant on experience)

Full-Time, Permanent position

42.5 hours per week

NO WEEKENDS

Up to 24 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays

Profit share bonus available (following successful probation)

Auto-Enrolment Pension scheme.

Key Competencies

Valid Full UK Driving Licence (Category C)

Minimum of 2 years driving experience

Current DCPC qualification

Clean driving record (maximum of 3 points)

Good geographical knowledge (desirable)

Ability to lift and move heavy items

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Strong communication skills

Professional and courteous demeanour

Experience with multi-drop deliveries (desirable)

Punctual and stringent regarding delivery times

Ability to work away for up to 2 nights per week

Responsibilities/Duties (include but not limited too)

Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road safety legislation and company policies

Keep vehicles clean inside and out

Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers

Deliver goods to various locations promptly and efficiently

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle log

Supporting within the Warehouse when required

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers;

Handle goods with care to prevent damage;

Adhere to safety protocols and company regulations.

Essential Criteria

HGV class 2 Licence (you will drive a variety of sized vehicles)

Current DCPC qualification

Digital Tachograph card

Desirable Criteria

Good geographical knowledge

Forklift licence or experience
