What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a care or healthcare setting.
- A valid PVG certificate is not essential but is preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and dietary requirements.
- Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Your Role:
- Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of residents and children.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Manage food inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure meal plans meet the nutritional needs of those in your care.
