PM Group requires a site-based Civil Project Engineer near Glenrothes, Scotland to oversee portfolio of projects on a  FMCG site.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a representative for the client in all construction activities on site.
  • Managing permits to work, RAMS, etc.
  • Working alongside existing client engineers, managers, nominated principal contractor.
  • Reporting to the project manager and offering regular progress updates to the client’s central program team.
  • Ensuring construction goes ahead in line with the project schedule.
  • Managing resources.
  • Delivering the project on time and within budget, in accordance with industry and client-specific EHS and QA/QC standards and procedures.
  • Reviewing and approving technical documentation.
  • Liaising with project teams, other departments, senior management, and contractors.
  • Providing construction quality and technical oversight, managing change, mitigating risk, managing costs and managing the schedule.
  • Directing and supervising contractors during construction and installation.
  • Managing change control.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in managing construction on projects within the FMCG sector.
  • Experienced managing multiple works packages
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
