As a Trainee Estimator, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of an experienced team. This role is ideally suited for a school/college leaver who is eager to gain practical experience and progress their career in the construction industry or someone already working as a Junior/Trainee Estimator.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the estimating team in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyse project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to identify materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimation.
- Support in sourcing and obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date records of estimations and related documentation.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in the construction industry
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
