Are you looking to build a successful career in the construction industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Estimator to join a specialist contractor based in Fife.

As a Trainee Estimator, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of an experienced team. This role is ideally suited for a school/college leaver who is eager to gain practical experience and progress their career in the construction industry or someone already working as a Junior/Trainee Estimator.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the estimating team in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyse project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to identify materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project team to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimation.
  • Support in sourcing and obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date records of estimations and related documentation.
