Search are currently working with their client based in Fife, who are looking to recruit Trainee CNC Machinists on a temporary to permanent basis
Job title: CNC Machinist (Trainee)
Location: Fife
Pay rate: £12.60-13.50 DOE
Contract length: temporary to permanent following successful probation
Duties include:
- Work to deadlines and under pressure
- Operate machinery in a safe manner
- Work both on your own and as part of a team
- Provide a quality finished product
- Be organised and methodical
- Keep work area clean and tidy
Requirements:
- Experience within a similar role or worked in a factory production environment
- Health & Safety awareness
- Able to work from cutting lists
- Follow instructions to competently set up and operate wood machinery i.e. Spindle Moulder, Surface Planer, Thicknesser, Table saw, Re-saw, X-cutter, Square dresser
- Good understanding of tooling
Forklift combi license / experience and a drivers licesnse is desirable but is not essential.
