The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment have been selected as an exclusive recruitment partner to a well-known manufacturing business in Fife in the recruitment of a finance business partner.

This is a newly created role that will aid good decision making in respect to specific product lines. Reporting into the head of finance you will be working within a reasonably sizable finance team, but effectively will have all of the autonomy of a stand-alone position.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include working closely with various internal stakeholders to understand new product requirements. These stakeholders will range from marketing, production, finance and procurement and will form part of a niche team that will drive new product development.

The Requirements
We are looking for either a part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) accountant who has a strong track record in stakeholder engagement/finance business partnering. Ideally we are seeking a background in a manufacturing environment (or similar). Our client has advised that they would consider qualified by experience accountants however significant proven experience in a manufacturing environment would become essential.

We are looking for applicants who can interact with suppliers, colleagues and customers in a professional way and who can build relationships quickly. The environment is fast paced and the client has suggested that certainly for the first few months there will be a requirement to work in the office 5 days a week (Hybrid thereafter).

Our client will be expecting the successful applicant to be based in the office on a blended working model, the model that we are working with is 60% in the office and 40% working at home, however this may change and you may be expected to work more often in the office. If, however, applicants wish to work longer in the office the option is available to them.
