Fife, Scotland

DOE + accommodation opportunity

Finally, a business that values your opinion.

Ready for a role where you can utilise your skills in large-scale vegetable production?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role with a well-established fresh produce farming business.

What's the job?

This role is a great blend of technical and people management.

You'll be at the heart of operations, managing crop production and ensuring best practices are followed across the field team.

On the technical side, you'll be assessing plant health, creating crop production plans, spray programmes and ensuring that processes are the best they can be.

You'll manage crop traceability, ensuring compliance with LEAF, Red Tractor and SEDEX.

On the people management side, you'll be leading a team of 50+ staff at harvest, keeping them motivated and ensuring high standards across productivity and quality.

You'll be working closely with the team to ensure the best yields and quality for broccoli and cauliflower crops.

About you

You've got hands-on experience in farming, ideally with vegetable crops, and you're confident in managing a team.

You're a strong communicator, and you'll want to pass on your knowledge to the team around you.

Knowledge of broccoli and cauliflower is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and PA1/PA6 would be great, too. This isn't essential though, as training can be given.
