Protea Recruitment is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturer to recruit a skilled and experienced Quality Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Extensive Quality Management experience within the Food Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of working with companies that supply major retailers.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).

The Role:

  • As Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across the business. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing all quality and food safety processes to ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer expectations, and legislative requirements.
  • Leading the development and implementation of QMS to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Managing and delivering training programmes to ensure all staff are competent and up-to-date on quality processes and standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance product quality and operational performance.
  • Maintaining and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor system effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Preparing for and participating in external audits conducted by regulatory authorities and third-party auditors.
