Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Fife, is seeking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.
This position is shift-based, covering dayshift, backshift, and nightshift from Monday to Friday.
The role involves fault finding and diagnostics during both emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance situations.
Candidates should possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with an apprentice training or HNC in a mechanical qualification.
Experience within manufacturing is highly beneficial, and the salary offered for this role is competitive, though specific figures were not disclosed.

The Role:

Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical qualification
Experience within manufacturing would be highly beneficial
