Job Description

Our client is a highly regarded housebuilder known for delivering high-quality, private, affordable, and luxury homes throughout East & North of Scotland.

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a live housing development site in Fife. This role will involve managing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring build programmes are on track, and maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and site presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors and in-house trades/labour
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones in line with the construction programme
• Conduct site inductions and daily toolbox talks
• Uphold strict health & safety standards on site
• Monitor site progress and report back to the contracts or project manager as required

Requirements:

• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications - Essential
• Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential housing developments
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively

Contract Details:

• Freelance basis - Holiday Cover
• Hourly pay via CIS or PAYE
• Weekly payments
