Hays Business Support is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our established manufacturing client for a full-time permanent Sales Administration Manager to join their busy team based in Glenrothes. Salary is £32,000 - £34,000 depending on experience + up to 8% annual bonus, 34 days annual leave & competitive pension. Your new roleAs the manager of a busy end to end sales order management team, you will be integral to the smooth & effective running of the sales administration process. You will ensure that all orders and enquiries are processed effectively while also managing escalated customer complaints. You will be responsible for your assigned customer base, ensuring that enquiries, quotes, order processing and delivery meet customer expectations. You will liaise with various departments to ensure the smooth running of the process including stock, supply-chain & sales. You will manage a busy team, monitoring performance, completing 1 to 1s and training as required. You will produce management reports, be involved in process improvement and provide insight and accurate advice regarding product, price, and delivery lead-times to ensure a positive customer experience. You will ensure all paperwork and audit trails are correctly filed.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you will have experience in a people supervisory or management role. You will have experience in sales order processing and providing excellent customer service including complex complaints resolution. A large part of this role involves building relationships and maintaining customer satisfaction. To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate this. You must hold a full driving licence as there will be a requirement for occasional travel. The candidate must be computer-literate and experienced with MS Office, order processing and telephone systems. Training will be provided on the company products and bespoke systems.
