Sonic Summary
- We are seeking a mechanical maintenance engineer/commercial plumber for facilities contracts in the Fife area, focusing on PPM and reactive maintenance.
- This permanent position offers a salary of up to £37,000, along with a company van, fuel card, and various employee benefits.
- Candidates should have experience in PPM and reactive maintenance, ideally with a completed Mechanical/Plumbing Apprenticeship and a City and Guilds Qualification in Heating or Plumbing.
- The role requires a valid UK driving license and involves being part of an on-call rota, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.
- Applicants should have commercial facility and plant room experience, with responsibilities including fault finding, maintenance of water systems, and compliance checks.
The role is a permanent position. This is a Mobile role, therefore a UK Driving License is required as a company van will be provided.
The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, Plus Overtime
Flexible Start Times can be discussed at Interview stage.
You will be expected to be a part of a on call rota
Plumber / Mechanical Engineer Description:
Complete fault finding & repair of a range of mechanical plantroom
Completing maintenance on water systems, pipework and fixtures, radiators etc.
Pump, valve and general plant upkeep
Responsibly for diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults, ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
Submission of clear, concise & accurate reports of work carried out
Small works projects
Leak repair
Compliance checks, tap temps and TMV's etc.
Basic overlap with HVAC plant where required (i.e. fan coil units etc.)

Requirements:
Completed a recognised Mechanical / Plumbing Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential)
City and Guilds Qualification in Heating or Plumbing
Conversant with Mechanical Plant / Plumbing related Building Services
PPM's and reactive maintenance experience
Commercial facility and plant room experience
Valid driving license
