Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide expert commercial management and quantity surveying support and grow their commercial team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying process from inception to completion.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • RICS membership (or working towards) is desirable.
