Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide expert commercial management and quantity surveying support and grow their commercial team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying process from inception to completion.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and financial performance.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- RICS membership (or working towards) is desirable.
