This post is working with adults in a care home setting within the Glenrothes area. This role involves supporting meal preparation, medication prompt and supporting Independence. As a Support Practitioner, you will be a committed and caring individual with relevant experience working in a care setting. Shift patterns tend to be a mixture of earlies and lates, across the week including weekends.
The successful support practitioner will be responsible for:
- Working effectively on their own as well as part of a team
- Recognising and encouraging the rights of service users within all areas of their life and to assist them to make informed choices and decisions
- Working in a professional manner, meeting National Care Standards, setting appropriate boundaries
- Joining a core team to support in a beans new support package
- Support provided across multiple service users which include learning disabilities (LD), physical disabilities (PD), brain injuries, and care for older adults
- Providing care within a residential setting in two properties that have 6 beds each

In ordered to be considered for this post, you must be:
- Qualified to minimum SVQ Level 2 in Care or HNC in Social Care (Desirable)
- A car driver with access to your own vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
- Minimum 1 year UK experience, working within a care setting
