Machine Operator (Engineering)

Salary Details: 12.30 per hr plus overtime at time and a third- Shift allowance of 15% on pm shift

We are pleased to be recruiting a Machine Operator for our client based in Glossop SK13.

4 Day week- 3 day weekend! 39 hours.

This is a temporary to permanent role with no weekend work expected. Working 4 days during the week.

Regular hours of work are Monday to Thursday 1.15pm to 11.30pm which carries a shift allowance of 15% so £14.15 per hr. Overtime is available on Fridays at time and a third.

Initial training would take place on the day shift - hours of 6am to 4.30 pm ( Monday to Thursday)- £12.30 per hour.

General Duties include-

Operating a variety of CNC and Manual Machines

Maintaining strict product quality standards

Maintaining Machinery and basic repairs

Reporting any problems or defects immediately

Training will be provided

The role would suit someone with an interest in general mechanics or engineering but no formal qualifications or experience are necessary.
