JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

To manufacture and test a range of bespoke control panels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To manufacture and test a range of bespoke control panels.
  • To accurately and efficiently build and wire control panels following electrical drawings and instructions within specified timescales from empty enclosures.
  • To carry out appropriate pre-delivery inspection and testing on finished control panels on the shop floor in line with approved standards and customer requirements.
  • To maintain safe working practices and adhere to quality control procedures at all times.

PERSONAL PROFILE:

  • Experienced in manufacturing and testing control panels.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Used to completing projects to agreed schedules,
  • Understand wiring processes and identify errors.
  • Accuracy and neat wiring practices required.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team or independently with minimal oversight.
  • Diagnose, test, or analyse the performance of components, assemblies, or systems.
  • Excellent house-keeping, takes real pride in the job.
  • Proven experience in working within a workshop environment.
  • A positive can do attitude excellent time keeping and attendance to work.
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, self-motivation & determination.
  • Attention to detail - accurate and methodical in work.
