About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning and established children's independent school near Stockport. This role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated HLTA to join a committed team and support the education and development of looked-after children.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and assess educational activities.
  • Provide tailored support to individual students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the social and emotional well-being of students.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably at HLTA level.
  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (Level 3 qualification and above).
  • Have experience in supporting the KS2 curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of the educational needs of looked-after children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
