Our client are a well-recognised manufacturer of pressure regulators for the oil and gas industry, and are looking to add an Engineering Stores Operative to the team due to a high volume of work.
This is a temporary, ongoing position with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pm.
Role:
* Packing orders
* Heavy lifting, working with products ranging from 1kg to 20kg
* Working in an engineering environment
* Preparing orders for dispatch
* Completing shipping documents
* Adhering to all safety requirements
* Maintaining a clean working environment
Requirements:
* Experience of working within an engineering environment is crucial
* Experience in dispatch/stores
* Comfortable with heavy lifting
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail
Job details:
* 12.60 per hour
* Monday to Thursday: 7am to 4pm, Friday, 7am to 1pm - half day Fridays!
