Location: Glossop, SK13
Commutable from: Stockport, Manchester, Hyde, Ashton-under-Lyne, Buxton
Pay Rate: 90 - 110 per day
Contract: Long-term, with an option for permanency
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Long Term Futures require a Secondary Teaching Assistant, needed at a thriving secondary school in Glossop (SK13). This role is perfect for those with a passion for education and supporting young learners.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in lesson planning and classroom activities
- Provide individual and small-group support
- Encourage a positive learning atmosphere
- Help students develop confidence and academic skills
The Ideal Candidate:
- A passion for education and student support
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths preferred)
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or youth work is beneficial
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
