Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Location: Glossop, High Peaks, Derbyshire

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Type or role: Full time and permanent

Hours: 40 per week (mix of shift times including sleep nights)

Fantastic opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to join an outstanding childrens provider in one of their homes based in either Hadfield or Glossop, Derbyshire.

The company has a long-standing reputation of providing high-quality residential care and education to young people who come from a disadvantaged background. They may be on short-term, intensive crisis intervention work, or longer-term placements as they transition towards semi-independence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children, ideally with an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare but this is not essential

Some Must-haves

  • Drivers Licence
  • Minimum of one year experience working with children and young people within a residential, educational or youth working environment
  • Able to commit to full-time (40 hours/week) working, including sleep-ins and, potentially, short residential trips away with young people.
  • Ability to work shift patterns (mixture of long and short shifts)
