Your Role:
As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the finance function, supporting the CFO and senior management team with strategic decision-making, and helping drive the business forward through both organic growth and acquisitions. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 (mainly transactional) finance professionals, ensuring that processes are efficient, financial reporting is accurate, and the company remains on track with its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance team, providing coaching, development, and support.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts to senior leadership.
- Manage the year-end process and audit coordination.
- Conduct process and control reviews, driving continuous improvements.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insightful commentary.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with VAT/tax requirements and oversee tax management.
Your Profile:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Strong experience in managing finance teams and reporting at a senior level.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally.
- You’ll be highly analytical with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous process improvement.
