Management Accountant (Engineering)
Location: Gloucester with hybrid working
Salary: up to £45K dependent on experience
T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of a successful and rapidly growing business services company.
As Management Accountant (Engineering), you will produce end to end management accounts for a number of entities within the Group. This role will have a heavy focus on excel, in relation to inventory and the analysis of monthly activity to budgets, forecasts and month on month variances.
As Management Accountant, key responsibilities will include:
- Production of end-to-end management accounts for two entities
- Calculate and validate the monthly inventory valuation,
- Investigate inventory variances through to resolution timely, engaging with the business to reduce repeat of issue.
- Review the P&L for activity performed by others and seek justification for any variances.
- Provide detailed revenue and costs variance analysis and information
- Balance sheet reconciliations, providing analysis and commentary
- Deliver the provision of accurate Divisional and Group reporting and analysis.
To be successful in this Management Accountant role, we are seeking the following:
- Ideally a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with 2 years management accounts experience gained in industry. QBE and part qualified will also be considered
- Excel skill at intermediate level or above
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Questions and where appropriate challenges the status quo to ensure continuous improvement.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility by adapting work in line with changing priorities
- Knowledge of Sage 200 an advantage.
