Robert Half are delighted to be supporting an organisation in Quedgeley on the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join the team. Our client is a fast-growing business, supporting customers across the whole of the UK, and are delighted to be expanding the Finance team with this hire.

Our client adopts a hybrid working model, which would require you on site 3 days per week, with the option to work 2 from home.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include but not be limited to:

  • Take ownership of your allocated entities' monthly management accounts and reporting packs submissions.
  • Preparing and posting prepayments and accruals.
  • Reviewing the P&L for any variance and discrepancies.
  • Calculating and validating monthly inventory valuations, investigating any variances.
  • Providing financial year end audit packs and liaising with auditors to ensure all deliverables are met.
  • Supporting with budgeting and forecasting processes, by providing both information and analysis.

Your Profile:

  • Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Accountant with ideally 2 years' experience of management accounts in industry.
  • Intermediate or above Excel proficiency including XLOOKUPS.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards.
  • Previous experience working with SAGE 200 would be advantageous but isn't essential.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously, in a busy environment with changing priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to manage relationships at all levels.

In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits including enhanced sick, maternity & paternity pay, annual salary reviews, EAP programmes, pension scheme and more.
