3-month fixed term Contract

Our client is looking for a talented Client Accountant who can seamlessly manage client accounts, support the team, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As our Client Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the team with essential financial duties, including:

  • Receipt Processing and handling banking (cash & cheques).
  • Invoice Management: Checking creditor invoices, resolving supplier queries, and raising charges for insurance, utilities, and repairs.
  • Payment Processing: Running weekly payment batches and ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
  • Client Reporting: Producing detailed client statements, ad-hoc reports, and managing VAT returns.
  • Records Management: Maintaining up-to-date records for clients, tenants, and creditors.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with the property management team to ensure efficient processes and excellent service delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a finance team within the property management sector.
  • Familiarity with property management accounting systems such as Tramps, Yardi, Propman, or similar platforms.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills to navigate spreadsheets and produce reports with ease.
  • AAT Level 3 qualification (or higher), or you’re currently studying towards it.
