Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Gloucester. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£45,000 - £50,000 plus 3 remote working day per week, study support package for CIMA/ACCA (if applicable) and wider benefits

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Preparing financial management information for a number of branches and entities within the Group
  • Analysing financial and other data in order to make recommendations and implement methods for increasing a branch or an entity's efficiency and profitability
  • Providing clear information on both upside and downside risks for a branch or entity's operation
  • Developing, managing and supporting the management accounts team
  • Communicating and challenging stakeholders to understand variances to expectations
  • Analysing system data to identify emerging trends
  • Maintaining balance sheet accounts to provide accurate and comprehensive information
  • Assisting in the preparation of branch annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Assisting regional finance teams and local operations with work in progress management

Person specification:

  • Qualified or finalist CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong management accounts preparation experience
  • Ability to control and interrogate high volume data
  • Methodical approach to work with outstanding attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards with the ability to apply this knowledge
  • Intermediate level Excel
