A Skilled Aircraft Fitter contract opportunity is available with a leading Aerospace and Defence company, offering £26.64 per hour inside IR35.
The initial contract is for 12 months and the position is onsite in Filton, with working hours from 6:30 to 15:45, Monday to Thursday, and overtime available.
Candidates must have a time-served engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ Level 2 and 3 or equivalent in engineering.
Experience in drilling, shimming, sealing, and the ability to work in confined spaces is also required, along with the capability to pass a BPSS check.

WHO WE ARE?

We are a globally recognized Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ a Skilled Aircraft Fitter on a 12-month initial contract.

WHAT WILL THE SKILLED AIRCRAFT FITTER BE DOING?

As a Skilled Aircraft Fitter, you will be joining our Build Protection team to work on various commercial and military aircrafts in the UK. You'll be working from engineering instructions and aircraft drawings, completing task to regulatory standards.

WE NEED THE SKILLED AIRCRAFT FITTER TO HAVE….

A time served engineering apprenticeship
An NVQ L2 + L3 or equivalent in engineering
The willingness to work in confined spaces
Experience drilling, shimming, and sealing
The ability to go through a BPSS check
