Structural Engineer

I am actively seeking a Structural Engineer to join a busy, and successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Gloucester. My client is renowned for providing innovative and practical engineering solutions for a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions, conducting structural analysis, and working closely with clients and other members of the team.

It is essential for this Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
3-4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Good knowledge of UK building codes and regulations.
Experience in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Proficient in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:

Carry out structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects.
Prepare detailed structural calculations, reports, and drawings.
Work alongside senior engineers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Attend client meetings, project site visits, and liaise with contractors and architects.
Support junior engineers and provide guidance, as necessary.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
