I am actively seeking a Structural Engineer to join a busy, and successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Gloucester. My client is renowned for providing innovative and practical engineering solutions for a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions, conducting structural analysis, and working closely with clients and other members of the team.

It is essential for this Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
  • Good knowledge of UK building codes and regulations.
  • Experience in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Proficient in structural analysis software and AutoCAD.

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:

  • Carry out structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects.
  • Prepare detailed structural calculations, reports, and drawings.
  • Work alongside senior engineers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Attend client meetings, project site visits, and liaise with contractors and architects.
  • Support junior engineers and provide guidance, as necessary.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
