Working closely with a team, you will contribute to projects from planning stages through to completion. This role involves collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of designs, technical specifications, and project requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Architectural Technician to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking architectural practice. Offering a workplace where you can enhance your technical expertise, work on exciting projects, and be part of a dynamic and engaging team.you will work within a BIM-driven environment, assisting in strategy development with the BIM manager. Your role will include creating and managing Archicad objects, participating in clash detection meetings, and helping to resolve design issues. You will also coordinate with subcontractors to update and refine project models while ensuring all digital project data aligns with internal and external standards.Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing and developing architectural projects, ensuring seamless coordination between design teams and external stakeholders.
  • Create and refine 3D models, develop 2D technical drawings, and produce detailed specifications in line with industry standards.
  • Interpreting project briefs, refining design concepts, conducting site assessments, and preparing feasibility reports.
  • Regular client communication and attending project meetings, ensuring that projects progress efficiently.
  • Focus on compliance with industry regulations, including health and safety standards and CDM requirements.
  • Assist in the production of planning applications, building regulations documentation, and contract drawings while supporting team members and maintaining best practices within the office.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Architectural qualification / degree equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of technical and construction processes is essential for this role.
  • Proficient in Archicad.
  •  Ability to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial, along with a proactive and highly organised approach.
  • A keen eye for design and detailing
  • Willingness to expand your knowledge of statutory regulations and industry best practices.
  • You must be competent in your understanding of CDM regulations.
  • A valid driving licence is required for this position.
