Sales Estimator – Morton-in-Marsh

Salary: £30k -£50k depending on experience.

My client is a rapidly expanding, UK-based service and manufacturing business, specialising in providing innovative solutions for the commercial manufacturing market.

The role: As a Sales Estimator, you will play a vital role in supporting their sales and project teams by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for their products and services.  You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that all project requirements are understood, and costs are fully captured and properly calculated.  This role requires a strong background in estimation and the ability to analyse and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to identify materials, labour, and equipment requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field/vocational qualification would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably within the manufacturing, construction or surveying sector
  • Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, software, and methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
