My client is expanding and seeking a motivated and skilled NDT Quality Technician to join their specialist team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, close-knit environment where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality and inspection standards across diverse, challenging projects. If you're looking for variety and responsibility in a fast-paced, rewarding role, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Examination (PCN Level 2): Conduct detailed visual inspections to ensure all materials and products meet critical specifications and quality standards.
  • DP Examination (PCN Level 2): Perform Dye Penetrant Testing using industry-standard techniques to detect surface defects in welds and components.
  • RT Examination (PCN Level 2) (Desirable but Not Essential): Although not mandatory, RT certification is an asset.
  • Full training for Radiographic Testing will be given to help achieve PCN Level 2 certification and expand your NDT skill set.

In addition to the core NDT responsibilities, this role will also include key quality assurance tasks, such as:

  • Calibration Control: Manage the calibration of testing equipment to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards.
  • Quality Procedures & NDE Specific Procedures: Implement, develop, and monitor quality control and NDE procedures to maintain consistency and excellence across operations.
  • Material Certification Review: Review material certification documents to verify compliance with technical specifications and regulations before final sign-off.

Essential Skills and experience:

  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector, would be advantageous.
