Responsibilities:

As a Senior Legal Cashier, you will play a crucial role in the Accounts Department, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority Accounts Rules. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the use and operation of the firm's accounting system
  • Completing daily banking tasks
  • Posting bills and authorising invoices
  • Directly liaising with clients for payment purposes
  • Assisting with the operation of the credit control system
  • Managing petty cash procedures
  • Efficiently managing work allocation and productivity

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a legal cashier is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective communication and articulation skills
  • Good general knowledge of Conveyancing Law
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong IT, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
