Overview of the role

A Sales Development Representative's role entails providing the broking team with a steady stream of warm prospects who are presently insured with a competitor. SDRs accomplish this by establishing a pipeline of prospects who have already shown interest, ensuring they are open to receiving a comparative quote upon their renewal. Leveraging our extensive warm prospect database, this role will require good organisational skills, combined with a positive energy driven towards converting more leads into quote prospects. For the right candidate, this position will both challenge and enhance their existing sales skills. We currently offer numerous growth opportunities, aligning with our overarching objective of expanding our clientele beyond our current focus on Contractor & Tradesman demographics to encompass larger businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Represent the business with a positive, goal driven attitude on a consistent basis
  • Be an effective communicator and be comfortable in objection handling (off script)
  • Liaise with sales teams to demonstrate upcoming sales pipeline (clients arranged by renewal date)
  • Prioritise workload in line with team goals and strategic projects secured by Business Development Team
