Key responsibilities include assisting the Quality engineering team, advising on Quality Inspection methods, and inspecting various components.
Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of QMS standards like ISO9001 and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

JOB –Quality Engineer / Metrology Specialist LOCATION – GloucestershireTERM- PermanentSALARY – up to £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependant on experience).We are looking for a Quality Engineer, CMM Programmer or Metrology Specialist on a permanent basis in the West Drayton area with experience of machined parts. Your main duties will be assisting with the day-to-day activities of the Quality engineering and Manufacturing team.The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

2 years’ experience or more in a similar Quality Engineering, CMM or Metrology focused position.
Knowledge of various Quality Inspection / metrology tools and techniques
Understanding of ISO9001 or similar QMS standards.
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Familiarity with the auditing process.
Have previous experience working in a similar machined parts manufacturer.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work independently.
Experience in customer / client focused communication – advantageous.

The Quality Engineer role will involve:

Assisting the Management within the business on Metrology questions and responsibilities.
Advise on best methods of Quality Inspection / Engineering.
Carry out inspection of various components.
