Handy Person required to work for a manufacturer in Gloucester paying up to 18.19 per hour, working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday during the day.
Our client is looking for a Handy Person to help ensure the facilities and services on site are maintained to the highest standard. This will involve facility maintenance across offices, canteen and toilets. You will also be involved in office moves or installation of new work stations.
As Handy Person for our client your duties will involve:
- basic maintenance support to building, grounds, toilets and offices within a very busy facility
- carrying out basic electrical tasks such as changing light bulbs, plugs etc
- complete basic plumbing repairs to site kitchens, toilets and shower facilities ensuring any leaks or drainage issues are dealt with immediately
- general painting, decorating and small building repairs
- work closely with the site maintenance team
For your application of Handy Person to be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- basic electrical competency, light fittings, lamps etc
- basic plumbing and carpentry experience
- competent and comfortable working at heights
- FLT and IPAF licence would be an added bonus
