We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning Housing Association with operations across the UK, who are looking to appoint a Maintenance Surveyor on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position with patch required in both Cheltenham and Gloucester, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working)and a salary of £44,919 as well as a company car.

The ideal candidate will have either a HNC or HND Qualification and have extensive damp and mould experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Completing reactive maintenance surveys on domestic dwellings across the South West, largely focused on damp and mould
  • Ensuring opportunities for cost reduction and cost management of repairs are taken, without compromising on the quality of repairs
  • Diagnosing the causes of damp and condensation, as well as complex works, and post inspect remedial works to ensure specifications have been followed and adhered to
  • Monitoring the work of contractors to ensure that works and meeting pre-agreed KPIs
  • Ensuring value for money in the effective procurement and delivery of a repairs service

Experience and Qualifications required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Either a HNC or HND
