Job description
GMP Recruitment are working with an internationally renowned client in Tewkesbury, who are seeking a Security Manager to oversee local security operations and ensure a safe environment for their premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing security policies, and coordinating security measures to safeguard assets.
Hours:
- Monday - Friday, rotating shift.
- 06.00am - 14.00pm or 14.00pm - 22.00pm
Pay:
- 15.60p/h
Duties:
- Physical security - Accountable for all regulatory scheme requirements and customer including all Physical Security elements within the High Secure Area
- Responsible for all new starter induction training
- Supporting HSE requirements with our legal obligation to Fire Testing protocol
- Support the SEC with investigations/queries as necessary or any other security related topic
- Audits and KPI Management - Responsible for all aspects of internal and external security audits
- Drive remediation action plans
- Ensure all audit activity is completed within the required time frame
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Methodical and well organised
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organisation, customers, and suppliers
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of compliance issues and how compliance works
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools
- Passion for compliance, security, and business integrity
