Service Supervisor opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Service Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair operations for a variety of high-profile customer contracts. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, managing repair requests efficiently, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Service Supervisor will coordinate and prioritise service tasks, ensuring all work is completed accurately, promptly, and cost-effectively.

Service Supervisor duties

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for customer contracts.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Respond promptly to repair, maintenance, and breakdown requests, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor and organise all service and planned maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Accurately input data into in-house software systems, maintaining detailed and accurate records.
  • Manage Work in Progress (WIP) and prepare customer quotations

Service Supervisor Skills/Experience required

  • Strong understanding of HGV mechanical systems (formal Heavy Vehicle qualifications are not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of HGV mechanical legislation.
  • Experience in fleet management.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent, high level / advanced Excel Skills.
  • Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Teams
