M4 Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers for our client based in Gloucester for residential refuse collection work, recycling and food waste. This is Monday till Friday ongoing work with possibility of going permanent with the company after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
Based on 37 hours per week basic, starting around 6 am every day. Driver might be required to help out with loading every now and then as well as some yard duties occasionally on a short day, so some manual handling will be a part of the job.
First induction is due to take place on Monday 24/02/2025
Our ideal driver:
- Will have a full UK cat. C licence with at least 6 months of holding relevant category and some driving experience
- Will have no more than 6 points on their licence (depending on the code)
- Will have a good understanding of driving regulations and hours, valid CPC card and Tacho
- Will be comfortable driving in narrow spaces due to nature of the job
- Will be happy with elements of manual handling
