Popular countryside Freehouse pub is looking for an experienced Head Chef to head the team in the kitchen. We have been awarded Travellers Choice awards, Certificates of Excellence, have 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor as well as a 5* food hygiene rating.The pub is well supported by locals and as a destination restaurant with a 60/40 split on food/drink.
We serve freshly-cooked, locally-sourced dishes including our home-reared Ashleworth Court Farm meats pure-bred Hereford cattle, naturally-grazed lamb and Middle White pigs. The successful candidate will have autonomy over menus and should have a real passion for delivering seasonal dishes using the best local ingredients.
Seating 78 indoors, the pub has a large outdoor garden & terrace with views over the Malvern Hills & Black Mountains which seats a further 56 covers.
You will lead a team of chefs in the kitchen and work alongside some great people. You must be friendly, flexible and have a real desire to push the pub forward.
